• Account information — email address and a hashed password when you create an account.
• Device identity — a randomly generated device ID stored on your device, used to associate recordings with your account before you log in.
• Video recordings — video files you record or upload through the app or website. These are encrypted and stored in your private vault.
• Location data — if you grant permission, a one-time GPS coordinate is captured at the start of a recording and stored with that session. Location access is optional.
• Usage metadata — recording duration, file size, timestamps, and scenario description you provide.
• Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card numbers. We receive confirmation of successful payment and the associated session ID.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To store and secure your recordings in your encrypted vault.
• To run an automated AI review of your recording's audio and provide a tier result.
• To connect you with a participating attorney upon payment.
• To send you transactional communications related to your recordings and attorney referrals.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the service.

3. Your Recordings

Your video recordings are stored in a private, encrypted vault. We do not sell, license, or share your recordings with any third party except:

• The attorney you choose to connect with, upon your payment and consent.
• As required by law, court order, or valid legal process.

The automated AI review analyzes the audio of your recording only. Video frames are not analyzed by the AI review process. Review results are informational only and are not legal advice.

4. Data Retention

Your recordings and account data are retained as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at the address below.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Cloudflare — for hosting and edge computing.
• Stripe — for payment processing.
• Turso — for database storage.
• Cloudflare R2 — for encrypted video storage.
• OpenAI — audio content is sent for automated review. No personally identifying information is included in the prompt beyond the audio transcript.
• Participating attorneys — only upon your payment and explicit request.

6. Children's Privacy

MyLawYours is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your recordings are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you not to upload recordings containing information beyond what is necessary.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
